After much research I purchased this Gamo to replace my many years old Stoeger break air rifle. The Fusion is light with perfect fit and feel. Just break the barrel and keep shooting thats wonderful but takes some strength to break her open. I fed thousands crossman pellets through my 'ol Stoeger but to have fun with the Gamo you must use Gamo pellets. My first Gamo shot with crossman, crack, sounded like a .22 oh no good, so much for whisper I thought. So I reloaded the clip with new, cleaned, Gamo pellets that I bought with the rifle and all shots make a clunk sound. I read reviews about reload problems, so far I used many clips of Gamo Tomahawk pellets without issues. Some complain about the economy scope but didnt take many shots to get a good group on the target. Surprisingly my first two off the target shots hit two varmints, seriously good pellet gun. You see this time of year we have many rabbits munching everything in the Arizona desert valley area. The munching includes my flowers and cactus thats why I got this Gamo so mission accomplished. Not having to reload every shot is a whole new world of air shooting, its great. But... start with the Gamo Tomahawk pellets for reliability and noise factor. Experiment with your preferred pellets secondary. Dont worry you hungry coyotes plenty of rabbits remain for you.

All arrived as described. Using Crosman Premiere 10.5g and 7.9g hollow-point pellets, accuracy was absolutely amazing. This pellet rifle does NOT behave like a typical gunpowder-fed rifle, the recoil feels different, so you have to expirement to find what gives the best results. Once I figured mine out, my groups shrank from 1.5" at 15 yards, to 1/2-3/4", small enough to cover with a nickel, maybe a dime. And that's considering the barrel hasn't really been broken-in, yet!!!! The quoted muzzle velocity of 1300 FPS isn't legit; a pellet of 4.7 grains = 1218 FPS, the 7.9 = 925 FPS) and the 10.5 = 825 FPS) pellets. [When switching from one weight to another, your point of impact will also change, so be ready for that.]Pros:1. Highly accurate, simple to operate2. The 10-shot magazine makes shooting enjoyable, no longer tedious with reloading each pellet by hand.3. Good safety, excellent trigger.4. Reasonably robust construction, looks like it'll stand up to some abuse.5. Light in overall weight, so it should be easy to carry with fatigue.6. Reasonably quiet- I can shoot for an afternoon, and my neighbors don't hear a thing.Cons:1. The scope- to be blunt- is junk. It was unable to properly focus, and there is no focus adjustment for distance. Not unexpected for ~25$ pellet-gun scope, but I would just as soon have bought it with no scope- at the same price- knowing I would be ordering a scope at the same time instead of waiting a week for Weaver to Picatinny adapter, the scope and the frustration.2. The cover for the cocking mechanism (behind where the magazine is inserted) is un-necessarily large, and clunky. When I put on a better scope (with illuminated mildot and 4-16 magnification, as my old eyes don't see so well anymore), the 12" scope I installed would not fit without significant setback to clear the clunky cover, which lifts up with every action of cocking the rifle. This simple flaw in the design, that could have easily been overcome by having real-world shooters provide feedback.3. The relatively light weight of the overall package has a downside, that is that you have to hold it a lot tighter, as the reduced mass translates into the rifle moving with more force from recoil. That must be factored into the equation.4. Instructions aren't that good. More detailed instructions about cleaning, magazine usage, etc... practical stuff. Giving me warnings about gun safety is all well and good, but when the warnings are the majority of the "instructions," I tend to get annoyed. To upgrade the scope, I about the ToopMount 14 Slots Rail Mount Rail Mount Tactical Picatinny Rail Dovetail to Picatinny Adapter for 11mm to 20mm Converter Rail Mount, Lightweight Rail (installed backwards to allow proper install of the scope), and the Pinty 4-16X40 Rifle Scope AO Red Green Blue Illuminated Mil Dot with Flip-Open Covers, Sunshade Tube. This upgrade REALLY made the difference.Overall, an excellent value for the money, even considering the scope is a throw-away item.

The first delivery - the box was severely damaged, the scope, magazine and directions were missing. Returned and a replacement was shipped to me. After some break in time and learning to properly use and care for the rifle - it is an amazing gun. Shoots very very well and accuracy out to 75 yards plus is great. Tried many different pellets and found pellets this gun lovers. Very accurate, the scope is crystal clear and works perfectly. Adjusted and used locktite to hold in place. This truly is a fantastic gun. the magazine works great, you just have to load the pellets properly. Very very satisfied with this purchase. It feels very sturdy. I love this gun and target shoot for hours daily. Saving a fortune on ammunition for real guns, yet improving my aiming accuracy;. Very satisfied.

Excellent item. Generally the scopes have a bad reputation, but mine is excellent for my close range usage. Mine and the local citrus groves have gotten 'infested' with opossums and Crossman Premier 7.9 gr hollow point pellets work fine on them. By law here we have to use .177 ammunition. Specs say the parallax setting on the scope is for a range of 25 yards, but mine is very good at 15 yards. I don't need a super scope - this works fine for my needs. I am pleased with the accuracy - I have shot several four-shot groups, all inside a dime at 33-feet, and that is off a fence post without sand bags. Stock shape is comfortable and functional. Noise is quieter than my old multi-pump Benjaman. Some of the U-Tube reviews with a gent shooting rapid fire 10- shots at cans, etc. at 25 yds, are fairly accurate depictions. I might order an extra magazine in the future.NOTE: AMAZON WILL NOT PROVIDE THE SAFETY AND OPERATORS MANUAL, SO IF YOU WANT MAINTENANCE GUIDANCE / HOW TO LUBE IT , ETC., YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT GAMO DIRECTLY.
