Bought it just for the looks, but it is actually a good pellet gun. Don't be fulled by the speed rating:At least mine barely hits 800 fps. with lighter pellets. And Gamo is known not to supply spare parts!!Will give a 5 star anyways, since , for the price, is a great gun.

Ive had this pellet gun for 8 months, it only worked for about 6 months. It was only shot maybe 20 times and will no longer work. The magazine will not put the pellet into the gun. We have bought 3 magazines and none will work. I reached out to the seller for a repair/replacement only to be told there was nothing that can be done. Save your $300

Great pellet rifle for the money. Not recommended as a starter pellet rifle for a novice but would be great for a more experienced and older youngster. A little bulky but well constructed. The scope is very adequate and good for a pellet rifle. Recommended.

This air rifle packs an impressive punch for something in this price range. The scope is decent for an included accessory, it’s quiet and well balanced. It was even almost perfectly sighted in right out of the box. For a single action break barrel, it’s a winner for me. Definitely a great small game and pest rifle. I purchased the Gamo Swarm 10X gen 3i Bone Collector Edition. Auto load works flawlessly. It’s whisper quiet. Accurate. Well balanced (albeit a bit heavy). Hands down, one of the best air rifles I’ve ever owned in this price range.

This latest edition Gamo bone collector in .22 cal is a very powerful air rifle. The beautiful wood stock , great balance , and simple to use 10 shot magazine makes it one of my favorite break barrels. I currently own nearly 30 brk brlls , 12 of which are Gamo , along with 3 Diana’s , Benjamin , Webley , Beeman , and some pricey German models…..That being said I must tell you that in my opinion Gamo makes the best all around guns for the average shooter. Yes , I love my Diana 350 magnum , and the Hawke varmint scope that sits on it. However , including the UTG pro series rings ( about $50 ) I’ve got over $800 wrapped up in that setup…..People , please stop talking bad about Gamo….They make an extremely reliable line of air rifles , and you won’t have to spend anything like what I described above. There are currently 3 Gamos in the .22 variety that can hit harder the the famed Diana 350 and the bone collector is one of them. It sits in the middle at nearly 1100 fps. The lowest rated of the three which all use slightly tweaked variants of their huge 33mm cylinder gas piston. That would be the whisper fusion Mach 1 at slightly over 1000 fps. Which by the way that for the price ( $189 Walmart ) is an excellent gun. Now , the most powerful Gamo .22 is the magnum , the swarm magnum….I wish everyone could experience the power and enjoyment of the .22 magnum. For $259 on sale along with the right UTG scope and rings you won’t believe satisfaction…..Pellets - I only recommend Gamo red fire in any .22 break barrel application….. ( what a surprise 🤷‍♂️ ) I am absolutely serious. They are by far the most accurate pellets to run through any Gamo .22 rifle. The pointed red hard plastic tip and the mushrooming led effect is a crow killer , and crows do not go down easy….. ( crows are evil 🐦‍⬛ )Obviously I do use other pellets , but only on the single shots. All the Gamo 10 shot cartridges only take red fire…. and here’s a tip , when you open the tin of any pellet get some of that mossy oak or any clean spray lubricant. Put a paper towel on your left palm and the bottom of the tin over that , and spray 3 or 4 good squirts into the the tin , put the top on and shake it around. Circular shaking if the tin is full. As you use the the pellets keep shaking them and add some more spray occasionally. What this does is slightly coats the pellets and keeps them lubricated which actually keeps the plastic magazines from drying out and becoming brittle….. also , in a single shot the pellet can create the slightest bit of diesling …..Shoot those Gamo felt cleaners down the single shots occasionally , and you can trim them with scissors to make them fit into the cartridges.Note - I feel I must confess that I have started to really like these Crosman red flight penetrators….Note - Gamo does not make the red fire pellet in .25 caliber. I have two of the three models now available and I use the predator polymag. They are very similar.Note - I said in my one other review that all Gamo rifles with the 10 shot gen3 cartridge would require a compact scope ( like a 4-16X44 UTG 30 mm ) because of clearance problems. This is incorrect. The Gamo swarm magnum in .177 and .22 cal can actually have a 14” scope.I have a UTG 4-16X 44 accu-shot that is about 14” mounted on both of them and they have both held zero for over a year now on the two magnums.Final note- in my opinion , the reason I have pretty much solved the scope recoil issue for myself is primarily the UTG pro ( $50 ) scope rings…. Weather 30mm ( as you should have ) or 1” if it’s a hawke or bug buster. These rings are sturdy and well made. I wouldn’t say it if i absolutely didn’t believe it…..I’m sorry , one more thing before I finish the bone collector. I am so sick of these guys who must want you to know that they’re hunters who say they had no problem make the combo scopes work…. Please…. they’re junk. junk junk junk 💃 🕺The bone collector in .22 cal is one step down from the magnum power. It is a beautiful , well made rifle that has a different feel than the plastic bodies. It is well balanced and actually smooth to cock once you get used to it.It should be mounted with the low midrange scope of your choice , but please try the UTG pro rings. They only come dovetail…..For $275 dollars this rifle is worth every penny.Thank you for humoring me , Toby Morris San Carlos , Calif

This Swarm Bone Collector GEN2 Inertia pellet rifle is great. The wood stock is well made and light. The barrel is very true and when properly sighted in the scope it comes with is spot on. At 20-30 yards I am seeing quarter sized groups from a standing position. The scope is a definite upgrade to a lower quality gun/scope combo. I see no issues with the scope, but make sure you move center the turrets between the mounting rings to prevent stress on the turrets and optics. The magazines need to be improved. You need a pellet pen or something similar to properly set the pellets into it. Once properly loaded the magazines work great and are super easy to load and unload.WARNING: This break-barrel has a strong breaking force so be prepared to work out a bit to fire it each time.I used H&N 14.6 grain .22 cal pellets and never saw the groups stray more than an inch or so from a bench fire. As an added bonus the feel you get when you fire it is really satisfying. Not much recoil or piston "ping" noise.
