The rifle is accurate.I put a red dot on it, which, in my opinion, is a better optic for the effective range. The scope didn't seem to fit properly, as in, couldn't get it zeroed.

Great .22: well built, shoots accurate and packs a punch. I zeroed in the laser at 10 yards and the scope at 25 yards. I am hitting my target every time. After the first dozen shots the laser lost it's zero (you could see it shifted right looking through the scope) but after checking, I realized it was the allen bolts on the clamp were loose. I re-tightened all the bolts an it's back on target. The flashlight has come in very handy when shooting at dusk in close range (25 yards). I look forward to putting 100s of pellets through this rifle.Edit after a couple of mods I made to the rifle:I modified the trigger by removing the tension spring, driving the trigger adjustment bolt all the way in and adding a to the trigger pin actuator. Now the trigger is smooth as silk, the trigger travel is really short and it takes little effort to squeeze the trigger. This is the best $10 modification you can make to this rifle.I also got rid of the 4X32 CenterPoint scope and mounted a . What an amazing difference! The new scope is so much brighter and clearer. The targets are really crisp and now I can adjust optics for clear focus at any range. I attached the led flashlight and the laser on the new scope with no problems. The rifle also looks great with the bigger scope. I tried to upload a couple of images but could not do so.

Got this REALLY cheap compared to the price on 8/20/2014. Removed the linkage that prevents "de-cocking" the rifle--who would want to leave this rifle cocked when they don't want to fire it after loading?Rifle is potent and very lightweight. The trigger ruins it. The adjustable trigger is a cheap afterthought that doesn't get you much--it's a flimsy plastic insert with a screw threading through it that is loose in the trigger assembly--the adjustment point moves so your second stage trigger will vary between shots, and it will suck on all of them...The price was low enough that this is worth it. Definitely not worth the $170+ unless the trigger is drastically improved. The scope/accuracy can not be judged with the current trigger, unless you put it in a vice--I have not.

This seems like a decent middle of the road break barrel rifle. I would rate it better but the entire scope assembly is garbage. I threw my scope away and replaced it with a nicer one. What really annoyed me was that the flashlight and laser assembly came uninstalled and they were on a weaver rail mount and it is suppose to be a scope mount. I could not use it at all. They seemed a bit cheap anyway but that is one of the main reasons that I purchased this rifle. Anyway, I ended up upgrading the laser also. This is a decent rifle but for about the same money you could do better with the Nitro Venum or a Gamo

This rifle is extremely accurate if you do just a few important things. First, clean the entire gun (not just the bore) prior to shooting. I found running a bore snake down the barrel about a dozen times prior to the first shot was very helpful. Next, order a target trigger from Charlie Da Tuna on line. I think the factory trigger was designed to discourage anyone from really enjoying this rifle. For about $35 dollars, the custom replacement trigger turns this rifle into a target grade pellet gun, and the installation is extremely easy (though it may void your warranty). My rifle was shooting dime size groups at 30 yards within the first 50 pellets (be sure to clean the bore often during the break in period). Throw away the useless scope that's included in the package and buy either a red dot or traditional rifle scope. I installed a used Nikon P-223 I picked up on-line so I can make click adjustments quickly when changing yardages. The stock fits an adult perfectly, unlike the NP Trail stock, and the heft of the rifle virtually eliminates any recoil. Over-all, I'd highly recommend this rifle if you need accuracy and excellent knock down on small game up to raccoon size. Correctly set up, the rifle has the potential to be a tack driver. Also, Crosman premium pellets seem to work best for me for the tightest groups.
