Looked up a garage lock, the store prices were insane! This thing fit perfect and locks awesome. Wish the keys were a little more sturdy. But definitely does what it needs to. Easy to install. Decent quality !

Simple to bolt in. Be aware that you can get it bolted in 180° out, and it won't lock correctly, and you will have to flip it over. Pay attention to the old one.

Nice quality — works like it should but I can’t figure out how to attach my old inside handle. The provided square shaft is solid with no holes to mount an inside handle. Seems to me that a new inside handle with a shaft drilled for variable door thicknesses should be included. My old one was installed with a tension pin that had to be driven out. I had to drill a hole through the new shaft and try to get the perfect size hole to hold the old “tension” pin. Ended up sticking a nail through my drilled hole to keep the old inside handle on — will replace with a small screw and nylon-insert nut when I get one. Am I missing something? No instructions included.

There's nothing special about this garage door handle, but it's well priced and the finish is bright and smooth. The mechanism turns easily and installation was a breeze. My original hardware was corroded from weather and time, so this gives the door a small refresh and a mechanism that doesn't stick.
