This was a great find and a very easy project to complete. Very basic set up and simple to put together. You just need a drill to make a hole where the clasp is and that’s about it. Works as it should 👍🏼

We have a gate latch for our garden but no pull from inside to easily leave. We’ve been reaching through the wire fence to open, a compromise. With this pull kit it is so much more finished and easy. Nice that it comes separately for those of us with existing gate latches. Of note, you can get this same kit with a gate latch. Simple yet excellent.

I had an basic latch on and older gate and this worked great to be able to open the gate form outside the yard without having to go through the house and open gate from the inside. I liked it and was a nice addition.

This pull through gate latch is a great product to make easy open gates and comes with all the hardware necessary. The latch is very easy to install and is made of good quality materials. The instructions included are very easy to read and follow. The tools required are simple and come in most tool kits. I recommend this product for the price.

I had no problem installing the latch. Just be sure you have a drill bit that goes all the way through the post. My post was 4.25 inches square. I use a 1/4 inch bit as the instructions called for a 6mm hole. I used a 5/16 bit for the 9mm hole widening counterbore and it worked fine.I did have one problem. The directions show that you can cut off any excess in the latch cable with scissors. This cannot be done. I tried to cut it with my electrical pliers and that could not do it. I finally use my sheetmetal trimmers. This left a bare wire end at the top of the latch which would stick your finger when you went to open the latch from the inside. I pulled the excess cable back into the clamp so that the ends no longer showed. When you use this item or any similar, you will see what I mean. I would recommend this product.
