Very bad experience with this fan clutch on a 98 GMC C1500 5.7L Vortec L31 . The truck was over heating to tempretures above 200 F in winter !! Even with a 160 degrees thermostat.I changed the fan, hoses, water pump and cleaned the radiator and the temp was rising.I tried to turn the fan and suprisingly it turned with no effort at all !! Which means the clutch is not working properly.I ended up installing the old fan clutch and everything was back to normal as it used to be with very cool temps at 158.This clutch was going to destroy my engine.

Great fan clutch, finally got rid of the loud blowing sound noise coming from the old stuck fan clutch I replaced. Such a relief to get rid of the noise every time i would turn truck on. More expensive than other fan clutches but definitely worth the money.

Looks like a very high quality replacement fan clutch for my '96 Yukon. Made in the U.S.A. Installed in no time, works great. It's worth the extra couple bucks...go with a Delco!!

Made in USA. Looks to be well made. Different than the original one on my truck, but only small cosmetic differences, namely the nut holding to the water pump is smaller, less place to put a wrench. Didn't make instal difficult, may make removal harder, but then it's already tough. Seems to be working well so far. Quality product.
