Came out of the box looking like a 2 year old folded it a bunch of time… not sure it’s Amazons fault. They are sending a new one, I’ll update once it shows up.UPDATE: the seal came the following day. Still folded in half, (not the greatest) but hasn’t leaked since I installed it. So I’m bumping my stars to 3.

After 3 hours work, in last moment I discover it doesn’t fit, not for Transfer case GM 246, neither Suburban 1999 5.7 Vortec.🤬

Well, it fits my transfer case as described but some of the gaskets material serves no purpose. The inter ring portion does not mesh against anything. Maybe it services multiple applications. 🤔

This has worked well. Fel-pro makes a good gasket

This gasket is a perfect fit, seals properly, and avoids the mess of a quarter tube of silicon. This is of course also considerate of future need to service, as when you use that much silicon, it's quite the chore to clean it up, whereas this comes off without issues. I highly recommend it.
