We ordered once from another provider but they never sent it or it got lost by Amazon. This part was indeed a Toyota part and fit 2006 Corolla . Helped with smog test. Would buy from them again.

I have a Corolla S 2006, it was exhibiting EG-002-06 bulletin issued by Toyota. With M.I.L. ON "DTC 043E, P043F, P2401, P2402, & P2419"Getting this part on my country is expected to cost $400 to $650, and are difficult to find, even at the dealership. This seller sent me a part in perfect state and worked as expected. My check engine light with 5 DTCs was promptly resolved. My mechanic was really happy that I was able to get a genuine part of this quality at such good price. I'm able to sleep now, knowing that the dreaded light is not ON anymore :)

With all the codes I had, I had to make a educated guess on what to try. I did the easiest first, replacing the gas cap, but no dice. Then I ordered this with my fingers crossed. The hardest part of the install was getting under the car to work on it. I'm old and mostly blind without my glasses (there will be some that won't get that) and working closeup is tough.I did scour youtube for a video on how to replace and only found one and it wasn't really that great but it did help. Only thing, it was completely different on the connects with the hoses and wiring. No big deal, still ease enough. It's been a over a month now and still no codes.

TOYOTA part. Got check engine light, P2401 leak detection pump circuit pressure low, did everything like cleaning blowing drying, didn't work. Ordered this one, delivered the third day, changed. cleared code, problem solved.

My daughter's 2005 Matrix XR threw multiple codes (P0171, P043f, P043e, P2401, P2402, P2419). Changed the charcoal cannister, and cleared codes and the CEL light has not come on since. I think it was best to buy genuine Toyota part. The price was very reasonable and the end result (No more codes) is outstanding. The rating for sheernes and thickness kind of puzzled me, but the part was quality so I rated it all 5 stars. Again very happy with part, great outcome, good seller.

Update: it's been about a week now and no check engine lights and 0 background fault codes. Some issues will not set off the CEL but will be stored in the cars computer which only high end scanners can read. Before swapping the evap assembly, if I reset my computer, within 48 hours the light was back on every single time. So for sure now I know that my issue is solved. I'm not sure what part of the EVAP assembly was the problem, specially when I was getting pretty much every EVAP code possible (10 in total) it's much more practicel to just replace the entire assembly. It's super easy to remove and replace. If you are getting EVAP codes. Change your gas cap. If that doesn't do it, this is most likely your fix. I was able to replace it in 20 min. 3 hoses and 3 bolts and it's off.I was getting 10 codes! Now they are all gone. I got the car about a year ago with no issues. Never a check engine light then one morning bam! So after scanning the car it was impossible to know what part of the assembly was the problem and individual part will go over the $200 mark pretty damn fast. Throw in "diagnostic" work from even a low priced auto shop and your sure to go over. $200 easily. This was the obvious solution for me. And for the price, this is one hell of a deal.Anyone with even a little automotive experience can replace this part. Let me put it this way. If you change your own brakes, this will be easier than that. Honestly the hardest part for me was getting the locking clip to come loose on the big hose when removing the old assembly. I just ended up cutting the little pieces of plastic that held the clips in place since the hose and clip come on the new assembly. About all you need is a 12mm socket wrench with a decent extension and a flat head screw driver.Toyota wanted $500+ for this part. Sure you could try and replace this part or that part but it's so much easier to replace the whole assembly. OEM is almost always the way to go when it comes to Japanese cars. Very high quality parts. In this case it was an easy decision because the Toyota OEM part is cheaper than aftermarket, at least here on Amazon.

Car got a check engine light brought up codes P2419 P2402 P2401 P043F P043E. Crawled under my car to find a broken hose just before the inlet filter. Probably could've gone to a junk yard and picked the hose and filter assembly off but decided to just replace the whole unit instead. This fit perfectly on my 2007 Toyota Corolla S.Replaced the part myself. It was pretty simple and only took an hour. Shop wanted $430 just for the part.

What can I say? I had to buy one of these to correct a 'Check Engine' error code. Tried to buy from a local Toyota dealer, quoted over $500.This is a genuine Toyota part, as advertised. Easy to install and fixed the problem.
