This UV resin is quite nice for adding a glow effect to your projects and I was fortunate enough to have read some reviews about the quality of the glow that informed me on how to use it. I'm not sure what they're using for the fluorescent dyes, but it does need a bit of mixing before you use it. Overall, it's very nice and a good value for what you're getting, just make sure you mix it up before use!

I recently purchased this Ghost Light UV Resin for a craft project and it exceeded my expectations. The 7 color options and the glow-in-the-dark feature make it great for creating unique and visually striking pieces. I especially like the Olive Green+Blue+Purple color combination. The resin is also perfect for making luminous flies, hot spots, trigger points, and thin layers.The only downside is that the resin is a bit thick and hard to work with.

This UV resin glow in the dark set arrived fairly quick and the (3) bottles look as they do in the product images. They’re fairly easy to use but the coverage is a little confusing as the glow is hit or miss in some areas on my figurine. I like that it’s cured via UV light and after a few minutes it’s good to go. I haven’t worked with UV based resin before so it was a new experience for me that I enjoyed - but also means I don’t have much past experiences or other products for comparison.

I like the viscosity of these UV resins. It stays where I apply it with minimal dripping and gives me time to shape it with a toothpick. It cures within seconds under a UV light.The kit includes extra bottles with brush applicators. The kit also includes precision applicator tips which is my preference.

Olive Green, Blue and Purple little bottles of UV resin and also more little items such as plugs, brush on bottles. This is super wonderful for glow in the dark, if you choose to do some fishing and these will glow if hit with certain light spectrum. Easy to use on your fishing fly's. Highly recommended.

Alright, so I was aware of UV setting resins and their uses in fly tying but I had never used them myself. I ordered these glow-in-the-dark colors and tried them out on a couple of flies that were beat to heck from one too many trout (and really due for the trash). I placed a bead of the green resin on the leggy, bead-head nymph and then used a UV flashlight to set the resin. In 20 seconds I had a hard, tack-free coating across the back of the fly. Amazing! The resin should hold this fly together for many more trout. As you can see in the photo, I also performed a similar "rescue" with the purple resin on another nymph. I LOVE how quickly this stuff sets up. No sticky super-glue mess. Just for kicks I tied a butt-ugly little blue and green wooly bugger using the blue resin. Again, super easy! I'm going to experiment with different techniques but I am super excited and pleased with this product. BONUS: I held the flies under a strong light for about 10 seconds, walked into a dark room, and saw that the quality of the glow is ON FIRE! Check out the photo of the flies in my hand. I can't get out to fish these flies right now but hopefully I'll be updating this review with a good report. BONUS-BONUS: The price is less than half of the stuff for sale in my local fly fishing store. Side note: There are three brush bottles and drippers included. Don't know what they are for and there was no instructions. I didn't find them necessary.

These resin colors are really nice. The kit comes with everything that is pictured and for what it is the price point is okay.
