These are great, added 4 of these instead of full stands. Very versatile, plenty of adjustment for the perfect fit and cuts down on the space needed for the kit.

It's Super rugged. This will end up being a hand me down to my brood. This is a Great option if you don't want to add a foot print to the kit but need some splash or stacker near the kit. Although, I'm fairly certain this would hold you up if you also wanted to do pull ups. It's very sturdy.

Sturdy, functional, holds a second cymbal to a boom stand and I use a second one for a small splash extended from another boom. Great additions to current stands without having to buy a ton of stands for your cymbal arrangement. Works great.

This is a great boom arm, especially for the money. I'm using this to hold a 10" splash cymbal, and have attached it to a boom stand. It's sturdy, easy to use and is made well. Its an excellent value for the money.

What a brilliant design the boom arm drops into the primary sleeve, making it as compact as a 1/2 sized straight holder. The boom is well balanced and sturdy and fits perfectly into a Yamaha DTX RCl500 without the thin cymbal insert. Seller was extremely quick and all arrived in good condition. Highly recommend for any serious drummer, acoustic or electronic!

Gibraltar makes quality drum and cymbal hardware. This one gripped the 1/2" in diameter L rod and was able to withstand the impact on a 10 inch splash cymbal. I had to return it to Amazon.ca for a refund because the arm was not long enough to have the cymbal clear the 10 inch mounted tom. No fault on Amazon.ca because this was an arm not available in the showrooms of neighourhood music stores where I could bring the arm home to try it. Therefore, Amazon.ca was the most popular shopping site to purchase in stock hardware.

These things are fantabulous!!!I mean I bang the smack out of these little suckers and go boom boom bang bang all night long making all sorts of groovy gravy train beats while we ride a disco spaceship on a journey through a galaxy of funk on our quest to find la la land. They have yet to fail me, and have helped us avoid many dark black holes of pointless noodling, and helped maintain a direct path towards jamtastic awesomeness. They fit my kit gooder than anticipated. Thanks.

I use this standard Boom arm to mount a 16" crash cymbal on a Gibralter rack. It's very sturdy and does not vibrate or rattle.I use the Gibralter shorty boom arm to mount a 20" ride cymbal with equally good results.I've used this standard boom arm for only a few weeks, but have used similar Gibralter boom arm for years with out fail.I've been using Gibralter hardware for 12 years and have not had any problems.I would recommend this boom arm to any drummer that needs a sturdy boom arm at a reasonable price.

I bought this to use on a tom stand that has a clamp built in for an additional tube. It works perfect for this and is made well and looks nice. It isn't the highest end piece as far as features go, which is why it is a "standard" arm. There is only one wing nut that locks the boom arm in position instead of a separate one for angle and another for the arm itself. That makes this one a little more fussy to get set but it's not terrible. The tilter for the cymbal itself is a standard type with teeth. The teeth are pretty fine though so it allows pretty decent adjustability. It's basic nature doesn't keep it from doing its job though and it is well enough made that it should hold up to years of use. If you set up and take down your set often (play gigs) this may not be our best choice. The basicness of the adjustment could get frustrating in time. For someone who leaves their drums setup and in one place there is no reason not to get one of these.
