Tested this with a pcie nvme m.2 512GB drive and it detected it just fine. No issues there.The way the m.2 drive is attached though is kinda weird. Has a screw on the bottom and a nut I guess you'd say on the other side with an indentation in the middle where the m.2 drive sits. It's an odd design for m.2 drives and I'm not really a fan. The drive isn't fully secure and wobbles a bit. I much prefer the style that inserts into the adapter, the drive sits on that and then the screw goes through the hole for the drive/nut. It keeps everything in place better that way. Also, this has 4 LEDs in bright blue. I could do without those and only recommend this for a case with no window or large mesh holes.In the end, it works but the design is kinda odd.

I've used this adapter on my computer for a while and it's been reliable being able to read and write games to and from the SSD. The installation was easy as I just had to turn the computer off, install my NVME SSD onto the adapter, place it in a PCIE slot, turn on the computer, and I'm good to go. Since there's plenty of space all around the adapter, I was able to install a heat sink onto my SSD to help keep the drive running cool. There's been no drive recognition issues and I use it on a daily basis with a 1TB drive that holds my game collection. I'm glad that I'm able to use this on my computer to expand the number of M.2 NVME drives I can install onto my motherboard.
