I live on the ocean. I bought these stainless steel posts and after being outdoors for one week, they started to rust. Who knows, they might do fine inland, but close to the ocean, they are a non-starter.

B. The pots are made to use in a balconie or large open areas, like a deck. Definitely won't look good on ismall staircase like mine at a townhome. Unless you have wide steps. Each post has a big dianeter, it will reduce the step area. You must keep in mind where you'll be placing them. I'll be using then on my deck.
