We used these on our deck. It made the posts feel like they were ALL cemented in the ground. We had thick steel braces on them before and the posts still moved a bit. With these the rails connected to the posts are rock solid. Would definitely buy again! Super easy to install as well.

We used a 6x6 Post as a Birdhouse Post and used this post base cover upside down under the birdhouse as a decorative crown molding for the post and also gave more support for the birdhouse to sit/mounted on. It turned out to be great for our use. It looks amazing and is structurally strong.

once mounted these 4x4 support mounts really do the job...no movement at all. they also make the deck look great

I have used these on 2 porch/deck projects so far.Installation was easy and these things are quite sturdy. Tested by leaning my 260lb body against the railing with minimal movement. Was very surprised. Even my skeptical neighbor was impressed. Great product well worth the price

These work great. My only issue is, on a standard 1x6 a lot of the screws seem to line up on the edge of the board and just end up splitting the wood even with pre drilling.Overall though, a great product and I would buy again. A little high on the price is my only other complaint.I always want to know and in case anyone is wondering the stain color on the deck is Dark Walnut by ReadySeal.

I swear it feels like the 4x4's are secured 3 feet into the ground with these. I didn't have the ability to properly dig down in to the ground and mound my posts for the railing that I had made for my deck. These offer amazing support, for the project I used them for. Highly recommended if you are using them for a railing.
