Mounted right up to an older Manco Hyper Fox with a Subaru Robin 125cc. As you can see we pretty well re-did everything on it. Works great!

Well made cable. Thick inner cable will surely take a lot of abuse before any fraying begins. Outer shield is robust and will protect it from the elements. Can’t tell if any sort of anti corrosion or lubricant is applied from the factory but as we know moisture getting inside always kills these long before any breakage, that’s not directly because of corrosion, takes them out. I remember years ago having a adapter that allowed me to lubricant my dirt bike cables via a rattle can, something like that would allow this to have a good long life.
