These strobe lights are excellent and provide a cost effective way for beginners to start portrait photography. With a power bank they can also be used outdoors. The only problem with using these strobes outside is that they do not have High Speed Sync to allow for higher shutter speeds, this however can be worked around with Nutrual Density Filters which allow slower shutter speeds still producing dramatic results. I really like these strobe lights,I don't see an advantage to purchasing more expensive units.

Der Blitz ist gut, wertige Verarbeitung. Ich habe ihm in einer Fotobox im Einsatz und habe noch keine Verschleiß-Erscheinungen. Für den Preis ideal als Einsteiger-Blitz mit Kompatibilität zu Profi Zubehör.

Un bon flash pour commencer. Puissance réglable manuellement.Il dispose d'un récepteur intégré pour pouvoir le piloter à distance ( emmeteur xt16 vendu à part)Je recommande.

This light is suitable for your small studio where you don't need to place the light too far away.The quality is good, but I didn't really like the handle for mounting it on a tripod. There is a feeling that it might break.Overall the quality is good, as with all Godax products.The light is bright enough even for outdoor use as long as you don't use it right in the middle of the day.

Ha un prezzo davvero notevole rapportato alla qualità. È robusto, facile da trasportare e molto intuitivo nell'uso. Ovviamente non è potentissimo per cui funziona bene in studio ed in determinate situazioni. Lo uso spesso, da solo o in coppia, anche in situazioni di ritratto ambientato o per corporale. Mai deluso. Anche in alternativa ai Profoto che, ovviamente, sono di altra categoria. Li consiglio senza remore.

Ive been using this strobe for about two months now. It works great. Kicking myself NOW though because I should have gotten a strobe that ccould go lower than 1/16. Another issue I have is that the reflector that came with the monostrobe is NOT the standard 7 inch with umbrella holder. This is an issue for me, as I just ordered the GODOX barn door kit and it does NOT fit the one that came with this flash. So now I have to order a standard model. Just things to keep in mind.

If you have a Godox X2T, You will be able to use the SK400II right out of the box. Received the product on time, set group and channel that correspond to the X2T, then started using it. Dont need the instruction manual, able to figure out the buttons within seconds!! Great product, much better to set up than the speedlight. Very happy with the purchase.

I’m setting up a home studio and these lights are a complete game changer. They’re cheap but very sturdy and give off a beautiful light.I can’t recommend them highly enough for any beginner. The singular down side I can see is that they do not have a battery and so are really not portable. You can only take them places with an outlet, unless you have a separate generator or battery pack.I gave “portability” 5 stars because they are compact and light enough to take places, you just need a battery pack or outlet. I absolutely love mine. Will definitely buy more!!

I used this light for a photo booth during a Halloween party, and it never faulted once. The wireless trigger system connected quickly and hassle free (big plus these days). If there’s anything negative out this strobe is it only turns down to 1/16. A lower setting would be nice but can be compensated with aperture or moving the light further away.
