It’s a good solid build rack but there is no hardware to mount

The only thing I disliked about it, there is no mounting hardware, you have to decide how to mount and what works best for you. I added weather stripping to it to prevent rattling. But it’s very sturdy and nice looking.

I was going to write a very funny, long review on how laughably bad everything about this experience has been. There is no mounting hardware, so be prepared to source your own.The “instructions” are easily the worst I’ve ever seen, which deserves its own accolade written by someone who learned English last week as a fifth language. But the most fun you’ll have with this investment is the incessant rattle and vibrating noise that you get to enjoy. Prepare to bring hearing protection for the loud rattling that results from the pitiful welding job on the rear rack. It’s possible they could have done a more pathetic job, but I’m not sure how.The only advantage to buying this is going to be the future enjoyment someone else gets from your uniquely crafted, frustrated review.

I had the exact same one on my older atv, lI oved it, this is why I purchases the same type for my newer Yamaha Kodiak. According the the other comments, I added and extra coat of paint before I installed it. You can assume that it does not come with any mounting brackets so this is why I put 4 stars instead of 5. I purchased U bolts, which is a perfect fit, no needs to drill anything. I even slide a caoutchouc tube on the U bolts so I will avoid rust on the long terme. Also I purchased self adhesive foam bands that I put underneath the rack, then no metal robbing on metal, again no rust.

This review is for the front and rear racks. As other reviewers have stated, the instructions are scant and there is no mounting hardware. Personally, I can't imagine needing instructions to attach expanded metal baskets to atv racks, and with the myriad different atv models with all the different rack designs and materials out there, including mounting hardware for all would be impractical and would likely raise the price point. I attached mine directly to the metal atv racks with self-tapping screws. I also added a few where the drop basket meets the part that attaches to the back rack. Mine doesn't rattle or buzz at all mounted like that. I deducted a star for the poor finish quality. It had a little light surface rust right out of the box and the paint is thin. I put another quick coat of rustoleum on it to remedy that issue. Shipping was fast. I would buy these again if I needed another set.

I used half inch zip ties to secure it to my 2019 sportsman. Works well and can support a lot of weight secured the way I have it.

Had to drill two holes to make hardware fit, no big deal. Painted it first with rust paint, as recommended by others. Fits on the frontrack of my Foreman 520 2022, along with the gunrack. Very happy with it 👍👍👍

Wish I had known these drop baskets exist when I bought my first ATV many years ago. This one was the best price on the web, the specs and the add didn't give a lot of info, and I was concerned the quality might be poor. Not at all! The shipping weight was 44 lbs and it is all steel. The design is well thought out. The only thing that tempted me to penalize my review was the inadequate directions. But lousy directions is common. I think people who write directions don't own what they are writing about. Here is an important clue: Mount the horizontal piece on your ATV rack first. Adding the basket portion is the last thing you do. I had to remove my Polaris rack in order to secure the two together, then put the whole thing back on the ATV. It took some figuring. A couple ATV screws had to be preset before securing the basket rack to the ATV rack. Just think it through. The result is worth it. This is already a great help around the property. I use my ATV nearly daily for work--fence lines, firewood hauling, etc. Note: I loaded the basket with stones and the weight is so rearward it made my front end light so that I could hardly steer. The basket can take it, but it is not good for machine balance. Incidentally, I love the open diamond weave. Dirt and fluids won't lay in it like they do in a storage box (which I also have bolted to the ATV).
