Unique and pretty drum with very soft tones. Love the portable size. It's not too big or too small. Don't expect a lot of volume though. There is a bit of a learning curve to playing the drum. Youtube helps slightly. What would make this item much more valuable is if the manufacturer included a simple brochure on the scale (there are many to choose from), and how to get started with some simple exercises ot just how to understand the layout of the tongues. Any bit of information to demystify a drum that is not a standard instrument would have been so helpful and welcome.

Beautiful tones. Everyone loves the sound. My puppy loves it too and will lay next to me and sleep while I am playing.
