This is some really nice quality vegan leather. I half expected it to even smell like leather when I first pulled it out of the package: it's that convincing. The way it's designed it's super easy to just snap closed or let it snap shut on its own. I wasn't expecting the included picks to be such great quality too, though.I mean they're picks, right? They're literally a dime a dozen even in this day and age, but these are nice and rigid just the right thickness. Now for a funny sidenote. So until now, I kept all my picks in Altoids tins, one for light, olne for medium, one for heavy (I have literal hundreds of these things). So imagine my surprise when one of the pick boxes is almost literally a mini Altoids tin style box! The difference is that the lid slides off rather than popping open, but this is the box with your steel picks inside. I'm going to keep one or two in my new pick pocket, but the rest I'll keep safe in their own personal mini tin haha.

This guitar pick case is well made with good stitching and padding and a magnetic snap that connects and holds well. The slots hold my picks firmly, though I do have concerns that frequent use will stretch them out, which will allow my picks to escape since the sides are open. I'll update my review and rating if that happens, but so far, that hasn't, even though I've intentionally tossed and spun the case roughly to try to get them to release.Although I didn't order this case for the additional items, I was surprised by the range of picks that were included. Typically, I've found that packs like these give one or two sizes of picks, and typically the lighter ones which I don't prefer. This set included the .30mm metal pics (x6, in a standard pick tin), as well as 2 each of .46, .71, .81, .96, 1.20, and 1.5 mm. The picks are in line with others of this style in both playability and quality, so they should suit most people. The red and blue pick holders are the same as all the others I've received, but I don't use them, so I can't really comment on how well these work. Each of the items in the set comes in its own zip-top plastic bag. Most people will toss those, I'm certain, but for those who like to use them as storage, the largest one holds everything well and is actually decent quality for this type of bag. It will come in handy for me to contain the case and smaller accessories during travel, which is what I wanted this case for, and if the picks do start to slide out, the bag will also keep me from losing them in my luggage.Overall, I'm pleased with this case. It will serve me well for my needs.

Those pesky picks! They are like roaches, they show up in food, and anywhere else! I have been playing guitars and other stringed instruments most of my life, and my friends and even my hubby have found picks in interesting places!!! This pick holder and the picks that are in it is great! Even have metal ones, which I find very interesting! I love experimentation, using modal tuning and harmonics and more. I absolutely love this item and suggest those of you who are guitarists and those who have to put up with our picks to order this!
