Just to preface, this plate is manufactured with less thickness than the original HD derby cover. However, my original was very scarred from the previous owner, so when building my chopper I wanted a simple chrome cover with no silly BROTHER designs all over. I secured my gasket to the outer primary with black RTV and this new cover installed with no fitment problems or leaks. Fitment was on a 2002 Sportster.
