I bought adult sized puppets to entertain my granddaughter from six months until she started trying to put them on her own hands at a little over a year old. That prompted me to find small puppets that would fit her hands, and she loves making them talk to each other on her own now at two years.

In some ways, these are quite nice. I mean made well, cute.Having said that, they are large enough to fit on a small adult hand.The heads are quite large, about the size of a small tennis ball and quite'firm', not hard plastic but firm. Makes them a bit hard to 'control', even for an adult hand.Can't picture a young hand dealing with it. I am returning them

All the hand puppets I got are of good quality, with no big issues. My toddler is obsessed with the pig and almost at a month out, he’s holding up well (no tears or coming apart). I couldn’t justify paying 3 times the amount for the name brand versions of these especially with kids being so fickle on which toys they will love and which will just sit around collecting dust. I also love that this is a no screen play and have seen my kids engage in more imaginative play with these.

Perfect for our little one. Not an awkward puppet to wear on hand. Brings imaginative play to another level. Love these puppets! Also, they’re super soft!
