I've had this installed for a few months, and at first, it was really easy. Now, I've somehow managed to get the part that lifts stuck next to the pulley and have to call my handy man back to fix it because I have a really tall garage ceiling. The lever that releases isn't easy to release because of the angle we had to install it, which is both a good and bad thing.

Overall pretty decent top lift. Fit and finish is pretty nice as were all the pieces. Install was pretty straight forward as well as the use. Overall I would recommend purchasing the top lift.

The Broaddict hardtop removal lift works well for my Jeep Wrangler, making it easier to remove the hardtop. It’s a heavy-duty product, but it can be tough to handle without help. A good tool, but it requires more than one person for ease of use.

I spent a couple of months making one of these from scratch and I hated it. Put this thing together and BOOM, instant success. Must have for swapping your tops. Easy enough to install with basic skills. Way safer than asking a friend to help (bc it's so darn easy to scratch the car with the roof!

This kit is very well thought out. Although it was a little complicated it does function as designed. It came with all the parts needed. It allowed a solid way to remove my jeep top.

There are numerous kits available out there for removing your hardtop. This particular one has some solid components: pulleys, cables, etc. I’m going to try and figure out a way to integrate a hand crank or powered motor. I cannot say for sure that I’d leave the hardtop suspended without some additional protections in place. That being said the cables, pulleys, and web straps appear to be of good quality. Time will tell how long this setup holds up. I am appreciative of the instructions and the various ways this can be installed depending on the structure of your home. All in all it’s a reasonably priced solution, give it a try!

Like a lot of us, I've got more than just the Jeep in my garage. I'm having to plan this for removal and installation only. My 8' garage ceiling, drop down scuttle stairs to the attic, lighting and door placement make it difficult to have free space for hanging the Wrangler 2-door top in storage. I will, however, have room to remove it and then safely lower it onto a rolling hardtop storage rack. The hardware seems really solid. Lots of stainless and quality lines. The instruction book covers just about every scenario to be considered. The basic concept is easy to understand but using the right components is what differentiates an expensive top crashing to the floor or a seamless one person removal. The instructions are fairly clear about what you'll need to add as far as lumber, they cover the direction your trusses/rafters are oriented, the distance from the top versus how much rope is available to lower the top, etc. My only gripe is with the zip ties securing things in the box. Get some flush cuts so people don't cut themselves handling the product. If you're going to cut a zip ties then cut it flush at the buckle and make it harmless instead of leaving a knife edge.
