Used this to make an apron around the chicken run because we live in a predator rich environment. Perfect size to bury, but it WILL cut you and make you bleed if you are not familiar with hardware cloth and cautious.

I made wire cages to keep rabbits off my young plants. It was easy to work with and easy to cut with wire snips. It has hells up in my garden so far (2 months).

I mouse proffed my garage with this stuff. I also cut small pieces to fit over the ventilation port on my cars. Mice can no longer get inside the cabins. My wife had the idea to glue tiny magnets in between the gaps of this mesh so it just snaps in place magnetically... I didn't have to drill mounting holes for screws in the fire wall. Mice can't fit into 1/4 inch (6.5 mm) holes, but then can squeeze into a wider gap that size. So jesh like this is perfect for mouse proofing... the guage is thick enough to prevent them from gnawing through it. They may try, but move on instantly because it it too thick.
