My potato patch is on a fence line and the dogs on the other side, so they can reach through the woven wire fencing and paw some of the yummy, sheep manure-soil over for the munching. That, and keeping other things out, is my purpose for this. It's real good stuff, I use a lot of fencing and wire so I've a very informed frame of reference for the stuff. The price is about the average.

I needed to get some hardware cloth to staple in the eaves of a storage unit to keep squirrels and other critters out.The Hardware Cloth 16'' x 20' Hot Dipped Galvanized After Welding 1/4 in Galvanized Wire Mesh is exactly what i was looking for. This hardware wire is well made. It is coated heavily and should not rust out any time soon. The Hardware Cloth 16'' x 20' Hot Dipped Galvanized After Welding 1/4 in Galvanized Wire Mesh is quality made and I would recommend it.

We have brought iron fencing, which is very easy for rattlesnakes to come through placing this on wrought iron fencing, and using zip ties to fasten it works extremely well. You must position the fencing to the bottom of the grass or wall so there’s no small openings for baby snakes to come through. We live near wilderness canyons, so snakes, scorpions, tarantulas — all kinds of things can slip in unnoticed. Very easy to use when rolled it and put some bricks on it for a few days to get the curl out of it and then just snipped it with wire cutters and zip tied it to our wrought iron fence. In our case, it didn’t need to be a particularly tall mesh. This works perfect for our needs. We’ve been doing this for years and I’ve never had any of those critters in our backyard.
