This size mesh is suggested for making egg mobiles, and it allows poop to fall through while being strong enough for the human to stand on, as long as all four sides are supported. No predators have attacked the chickens with this strong barrier, backed up with electric mesh.

I needed this for rat-proofing an old shed. Arrived in excellent shape. Very good quality. Sturdy. Not cheap stuff. Good stuff. Don't hesitate to buy hardware cloth from this vendor.

I bought this to wrap the lower portion of my chicken, duck and guinea runs and it looks great on there. I can't say if it has kept predators out because we have many predators but the birds have all been safe. I'm sure a racoon has wandered by and walked off hungry, as we still have all our birds. He likely went for an easier meal somewhere. It seems to be pretty durable and made well. If I'd had a grinding wheel to cut it with, it would have made my job easier and probably safer, but I cut with wire cutters which leaves sharp edges. I only got a little cut up. I will buy again soon.

Used this to replace the chicken wire that I tried to use around my garden area. The chicken wire was a fail but this wire cloth laid nice and was easy to secure.
