I often need to sew, which is not a pleasant task, and I lose my needles. This is one reason why I've put off sewing, because it's such a hassle for people with poor eyesight. I have an old-fashioned "tomato" pincushion, but it's difficult to see the pins that I put in it due to my nearsightedness. These Japanese pincushions are soft but firm, and lighter in color, so it willl be much easier for me to use them. In addition, I now have two pincushions, so when I am sewing, I can use both and not confuse the needles that I am using. Simple, but innovative. And they are visually pleasing too. They look like little melons. Very cute.

I absolutely love these Japanese style pin cushions. They look adorable so it’s always nice to have them in my sewing space. Beyond that though they also work great the fact that it comes with two makes it great for splitting up pins and needles.
