Very nice needle cases and great value. Both arrived unbroken and they seem about as durable as you could expect a little needle case to be. Opens and closes smoothly, magnet works fine. They came with 4 small needles, 2 apiece, which was nice.A word about magnetic cases in general: It's surprisingly hard to pick up little needles off the magnetized surface. I bought these for my upholstery needles and it works well for those, but I'm not sure I'll be moving my regular needles over anytime soon.

One of the two needle cases arrived with the hinge broken. Not really useful to have a needle case with a lid that falls off.
