These are so cheap. The tomato is a foam ball that won't sit up straight, the wrist band cushion is also foam...can't say I love that very much at all. The ring pin cushion is the most "traditional" of the cushions. I'll use that one and hope I can pinch it closed enough to sit upright on my finger.

This pin cushion is made from hard Styrofoam. Every pin cushion I have every had, has been filled with cotton or wool. I would think that Styrofoam would dull your sewing pins pretty quick. The wrist pin cushion and the tomato pin cushion are made with hard Styrofoam. Also the wrist band is to small and I have small wrist. These are horribly made! The ring pin cushion is filled with cotton or some kind of pillow stuffing which is great. The ring pin cushion, seems to be made pretty good and is adjustable.

The ring pin cushion is fully adjustable, and it seems to work well. The big tomato works like most others. I was really looking forward to the wrist pin cushion in this set. However, the elastic is too tight on my wrist. It starts to cut off my circulation. It will probably relax over time, but it's not a great start. I have larger wrists than average, so someone with slender wrists might not have any problems.

These pincushions are cute but not made very well. You get a standard tabletop one, one to wear on the wrist, and one to wear on the finger. The wrist cushion and the standard pincushion are filled with hard foam, while the ring pincushion is filled with fluffy material that has more give. All three hold pins securely, but I wish that they were of better quality.The standard pincushion is a bit lopsided, and it is hard to get it to sit straight. There is also a lot of extra glue stuck to the outer fabric. I compared the standard cushion to my other one I have; this one is larger but filled with cheaper materials. The wrist pincushion is too tight for me (a 6” wrist circumference), so I will have to take it apart to add a larger elastic band. I’m guessing it will probably be too snug for most people.The ring pincushion is quite convenient for quilting and is size-adjustable, which I really like, but the cushion itself is also a bit lopsided. Overall, with some adjustments, they’ll work, but they could be better made, especially for the price.

This is a nice set of 3 pincushions which can be used in different ways. The tomato is designed for standing on a table top, the checkered fabric cushion is designed to be worn on the wrist (though the elastic is a bit small), and the floral pattern one is designed to be worn as an adjustable ring. All three hold the pins securely, and all will make quilting and sewing more enjoyable because it'll be easier to get the pins I need without stabbing my fingers. The one thing I'll adjust (by adding a longer piece of elastic) is the wrist pin cushion. The circumference of my wrist is 5.75 inches, and the elastic is too tight when I wear it. Other than that, the quality of all three is excellent and I expect to use these for many years.
