The bowl is easy to damage, as I guess most glassware is. my 2nd replacement... Too Bad, it is a bit expensive to replace. Handle it with care, it is fragile, even a small bump against the sink broke the neck. Still, if you want the best coffee, siphon [ or syphon ] is the way to go.

I bought this as part of expansion of my existing syphon setup, as we found the smaller 3 cup setup was not larger enough anymore for our needs. Hario parts of different capacities for the same syphon model are modular and compatible with each other. So as expected this easily fit the new larger lower bowl which I also purchased recently, but it also fit the existing stand which meant that I could save some money not having to buy a new one.

Broke my previous glass because of aggressive cleaning 😊. This replacement came and fits perfectly to the boiler glass piece. These things are so fragile so you have to be extra careful when clearing the coffee grounds and washing. Let's see how long before I mess up again and order a new one.
