Ordered with low expectations and was pleasantly impressed. Well packed and each leaf had paper page. First couple of leaves damaged, as is with all brands but no inclusions or losses. Good colour and perfect thickness for gilding on timber, gesso, paper or metal. Good price and worth getting.

I am using is on a large canvas, 6’ x 4’ —I want to create a painting similar to Klimt’s “The Kiss”. — the sheets are very easy to use, instead of buying a gilding adhesive, I water down Elmers glue, and use that instead. These worked great using that method. I haven’t begun the actual burnishing process, but so far the sheets are adhering to the canvas, and I think I’m going to be very satisfied with the complete outcome.

I used this for the accent wall at my IV drip medspa in Houston. The sheets are very delicate and were falling apart until I got the hang of it. I dusted it off with a brush at first and then tried a damp rag. The damp rag took too much off but the look was beautiful as well. I went back to touch up some areas and lightly dusted it with a dry rag and this is my final result with lout varnish. The color looks great on a black wall.
