I bought the exact same style feeder from a different company. Within 2 minutes my buck had his head stuck inside it and his horns blocking him from getting his head out. I had to put some wire mesh around mine. Other than that these style feeders hold a lot of hay and it's so easy to manage the hay inside as opposed to a hay bag.

You need two people to asymbly because you have to hold it together while you mount it but finished product is very sturdy.

Poorly constructed garbage. Do not buy this item. The pieces had metal barbs running through them, preventing them from going together. Took over an hour to sand them down and put them together. Then I went to mount it, and the bar is built in such a way that you can't get at it with a drill or even a screwdriver.

I bought this product with the intention of putting blankets in it but the quality is so bad. The paint is bubbling and chipped, and the mounting brackets are not flat.

While the frame seems sturdy and pieces together with a lot of effort the screws they give are silver it doesn't match the black frame kind of lazy if ya ask me. See how this holds up I am using longer screws and ones that match if anyone needs tips on how to avoid issues.
