Install 4-13-24...works great...excellent air flow...really an upgrade from OE.... draws more air into the engine compartment than OE...will compare how well the AC cools this summer...

Easy install, really made a big difference vs my old one that seemed fine for getting my air conditioner to achieve proper cooling on the dog days.

Fixed my 2000 f150. On first startup THE FAN RAN CONSTANTLY ON MAX AND I WAS WORRIED IT WAS FAULTY, HOWEVER DROVE IT AROUND THE BLOCK AND WORKS FINE TO THIS DAY. So don’t get worried if yours does the same at first

Perfect fit on my 2000 F150 5.4l. I dont hear the jet sound others mention. It kept my truck cool on hot days during camping trip.

I purchased this for my 2000 ford expedition because my original fan clutch appeared to stay "locked" on for longer than it would normally. Well I did not really catch the "SEVERE DUTY " in the description when i ordered this. My mistake!! When I first start my vehicle it takes what seems like 3 to 4 minutes until the fan will release. This makes my expedition sound like a 747 when the rpms go beyond idle. I returned to my original fan clutch and much happier. I will note that I had no issues with it getting anywhere near overheating just concerned the original fan clutch would stick on occasionally while cold. Now if you want extra cooling capacity this fan clutch is likely for you. Had no problems with it other than it not releasing during the first 3 to 4 minutes of driving. Did notice it kick in quicker than the stock fan during traffic and parking lot maneuvers.Just want others to understand Severe Duty is the key word here!!
