I gave this product 5 stars, bcuz delivery and returning this product was quick and easy. I returned it, bcuz I didn't think it worked for me. And the only reason it didn't work was bcuz I didn't pay attention to what it said. It says "from HDMI to VGA", which wasn't what I was trying to achieve. I needed tha total opposite, which I learned, when I purchased tha correct converter for what I was trying to accomplish, "from VGA to HDMI". So, I'm glad I waited b4 leaving a review that this product didn't deserve. Bcuz it's obvious to me, that specifics, does make a difference with technology, old and new. It did install pretty easy. Sorry, I can't leave a better review than that.

This adapter was very easy to use and hookup to my existing VGA cable and old monitor was a snap. The picture quality on my monitor's screen is not HD by any means but it works great in allowing me to view different applications when using the two screens while working.

I found a new use for my old 18" VGA monitors. Easy to set up and no drivers were needed. The HDMI-to VGA adapter allows both expand and mirror mode right out of the box.

This product does not work for most, if not every computer. I looked into why, 16 prong isn't a powered connection and HDMI is so to convert 16 prong to HDMI it needed an additional power supply. I was too busy and stressed out to do a return on this product so it just sits on my junk cable drawer.
