This is my all-time favorite shock absorber. Every year I always come back to using this one even after trying out the rounded or square shaped ones. This one is my favorite because it expands across the racket so it's more stable and secure.The only caveat is that this one seems to break a lot easier especially when the balls accidentally hit the sides with the hooks.

This is my favorite string dampener. Kills all vibration from the string bed. Could be a bit more durable as the ends can break after significant use, but hard to beat for the price.

Not bad. I bought this for my daughter who is 13, plays 5 days per week, and despite that much tennis has some sort of mental block that prevents her from being able to install a normal dampener without it shooting across the court. That being said, in order to not have her freaking out about it during matches, I had to find something she could actually work with if it actually came off while playing. This was my answer. She tells me the dampening properties are no worse or better than the Babolat square dampener she was running on her Babolat Pure Aero Team racquet, and the string sounds didn't change either.Though it would appear by its design that it wouldn't ever pop loose, it actually has a few times when it takes a direct hit from a ball on the end hook. Obviously, that's an uncommon place for a ball to strike, so this isn't going to occur regularly. However, weaving it back into place and clipping the end hook back onto the end-point string is very easy. She likes it well enough to continue playing with it.Not 5* due to its price and that it's not really any better than other dampener styles; it's just different, but it is effective, so 4*.

I absolutely love this product! This is a real vibration dampener. Unlike the tiny circular ones that cover two strings, this covers the majority of the racket head. I have one on each of my rackets and I feel it significantly changes your game. You can swing confidently without worrying about vibration or rattle. The plastic hasn't broken on mine yet and I don't anticipate it doing so anytime soon. However, since other reviewers mentioned it, I felt I should comment on it. The ends of the sorb are plastic and if you mishit a ball or after time, they could break, making the sorb useless. however, I've been playing with one, 3X per week about 2-4 hours each time and think they've already paid for themselves. Hope this helps.
