So my cheap heatgun which I've used for almost two decades gave up the ghost and while I thought about getting a cordless one I decided to get another "inexpensive" one while I do my research. Well yeah I'm not getting a cordless one because this heat gun checks all my boxes and the cords long enough that I can use it all over my shop.You know when you get the cheap model of whatever your buying you find that it has corners cut all over the place, this doesn't. I don't have any criticisms like if you demanded I complain about something then maybe I'd say it would be nice if this came with a stand to prop it on while it cools but there's no need because it's the right price point with all the features I need in a heatgun plus all the extra heat related accessories and the tips its just a bonus. Heck even the instructions are well written and you kinda want to read them at least once because it breaks down the settings better for you.The heat levels are great, it feels good in the hand, heats up fast, doesn't pop breaker and works great.Bottom line: If you want a corded heat gun, just get this one its going to meet your needs.

Great for Heat Gun purposes, and it is powerful. Had plugged into same outlet with a light and the light started to flicker a bit and was not at 100% yet. So I had to back it off a little which was still way hot enough for my purposes. Easy to operate and would recommend others to purchase if in need of a heat gun as well. The Directional metal attachments works as expected as well and is easy to handle.

This is a decent, entry-level heat gun. It's got a variable heat dial on the back, and a two-speed fan switch on the handle, and comes with the usual assortment of nozzles and accessories. It's fairly lightweight and smaller than most professional models, though the handle design is a little chunky and makes it harder to get into tight spots.The fan speed thing isn't a proper two-speed motor, it just uses a series diode, which can produce an odd sound when used with some wiring, and also doesn't work well with inverters or other sources providing unusual waveforms.It heats up quickly and delivers good heat and airflow. The temperature knob is not calibrated, it's just a control that goes from 1 to MAX. I didn't measure the actual output temperature, but I can vouch for it being pretty darned hot. It will quite happily melt plastic objects that contact the nozzle, as I found out firsthand.This is a good value for the homeowner or casual DIYer who needs a little hot air on occasion and isn't content to get it from Washington.
