my daughter locked my keys in the car, and had to call a guy out to unlock the car. $150 for a locksmith hurt. However, I observed how he got it open. The next time my daughter locked the keys in the car, I cam straight to Amazon and bought all the tools necessary to pop the door open.A very worthy investment.

Great lockout tool. Accompanied with a bladder bag or plastic wedge. This has helped me unlock many pop-up lock doors.

If you need to reach straight down once you've pumped your door open, I would bet it gets the job done fairly well. If you need to reach towards the front of the car door for the handle + everything else, then good luck. I'm glad I found this out during a test run and not when I actually needed to unlock my car.

I was torn between ordering this or using a shoelace to open a locked car door. Totally worth it! It made the job a piece of cake.
