How to set your own code?
1. Set the code to default (0-0-0-0) and pull up the shackle.
2. Rotate the shackle 180°.
3. Push the shackle to the bottom.
4. Keep the shackle down and scroll the numbers to set your own code.
5. Pull up the shackle.
6. Rotate back the shackle. New code is set now.
Note:
-Before purchasing the padlock, please make sure that the shackle size of the padlock meets Your requirement.
Verify all dials are aligned with the indicator line when setting the new combination.
This series combination lock cannot recover forgotten codes. Please record your code securely or take a photo to avoid any issues.

I got this set of 4 combination padlocks for my back yard gates, as I have a swimming pool and need to have a fenced yard with locking gate. These have worked well for me, and the combination can be easily changed, if, for example, you've given the code to someone whom you no longer wish to have access. They claim to be weatherproof, and so far so good -- but generally speaking with all my locks used outdoors I spray a little WD40 in the barrel. At current pricing as of this review, the value for 4 locks is quite good!

These combination locks are heavy-duty and feel very sturdy, making them perfect for outdoor use on gates, sheds, or fences. The weatherproof design holds up well in harsh conditions, and I haven’t noticed any rust or wear after extended exposure. The resettable combination feature is easy to set up, and the locks are smooth to operate. However, they are a bit heavier than I expected, which might not be ideal for smaller lockers or lighter needs, a reliable set of locks that provides excellent security and durability for outdoor applications.

As a landlord, I wanted to reduce the number of keys and tracking for apartment cabinet locks. These give me tha bility to change out access without switching locks and labeling keys. When an employee leaves, I can simply change all of the combinations .I am not sure how these do over the long haul if left in the elements. Rust is the biggest issue that I have with locks. Hopefully, the combination wheel will continue to scroll with ease.

I needed several locks to put on my outdoor storage and sheds and wanted to stop using keys. The set including 4 combination locks seem to fit the bill. The locks are all-steel construction with a olive-drab/tannish powder coat finish. Each hasp fit the lock eyelets on all the outdoor containers and sheds that I wished to lock with combination locks. Setting the locks were fairly straightforward (set to 0,0,0,0, pull hasp and rotate 180 deg then push down, set your code, pull up, then lock--that's it). I set the locks to similar codes really quickly and now I'm all set. This is a nice 4 lock set to provide some security on my outdoor storage locations around my property.
