This tool can be used with barbed wire or slick wire. If your fence is loose, you can use clips to tighten the wire and then roll up the excess wire for the purpose of repairing the fence. If you've done much fencing, these are pretty easy to look at and figure out, and the handles are long enough to get pretty good leverage for pulling your wire. I've fixed a lot of fence in my years, and these are a great tool to make that chore easier.

I only captured a small bit of the barbed wire that I had to stretch tight, and yet the Fence Fixer hung onto the wire with relentless authority. This tool is perfect for fixing miles of fence line in the case where barbed wire is characterized by a moderate amount of droop between fence posts.

The quality is great and this is my go-to tool when dealing with barbed wire. This tool really pulls the fence tight and can break less strong wires. It's a very good tool to use.

This is a great fence repair tool. It will fix your fence, keep your animals in, and keep other unwanted things out. It's good and it can tighten the bobwire.

The overall fit and finish is well done. The unit's easy to open and holds the wires better. The fixer does work. I stretched a saggy portion of wire near the house, and you could see it fixing quite a ways of wire. I think I see this going in the fence repair tool kit, and being used when things get bad.
