Not sure if I installed it incorrectly, but the heavy bag I had hanging fell after only one session using it and ripped it out of the ceiling. I rechecked the placement of the hanger on the ceiling joist and havent had any problems since after multiple sessions on it.

It came with anchor bolts. These are all you need to secure this to a Joist or stud. I suggest if you have to use plugs for drywall, go out and get some heavy duty ones. And keep in mind. Drywall is not that strong so securing this to a Joist or Stud will provide the strength to holdup something heavy. I used it for my grandsons punching bag that's like 50 Lbs.

The base is really strong, but the sizing is off. I've included photos to help future buyers. Also, the bearing was squeakier than I'd prefer.

This Ceiling Mount Boxing Heavy Bag Hanger offers a blend of functionality and value at an affordable price point. The clean powder-coated finish gives it a sleek and professional look, while four holes for ceiling mounting provides secure and stable installation. It includes screws for mounting to wooden surfaces. However, the package lacks hardware for concrete or metal anchoring, which might require separate additional purchases for such specific installations. While the steel build and screws seem sturdy, there are some concerns regarding the swivel and carabiner components. In comparison to the robust mount, these parts seem relatively weaker. The swivel and carabiner may be the potential limiting factors, indicating a need for caution and potential consideration for a higher-grade mount. Despite this, the product offers remarkable value at a price point of less than $20. It provides everything necessary to effectively hang a heavy punching bag, making it an attractive choice for those seeking a budget-friendly solution for a home gym.

This is perfect if you're looking to hang a hammock, punching bag, climbing rope, or swing. We're creating a mini climbing gym for our boys and installed this to hang a swing or climbing rope, whichever the boys prefer at the time. The dimensions of this align perfectly with a 2-by, and in our case we installed it onto a roof joist.Installation was easy:1. Locate stud/joist/mounting plate2. Use hanger to mark holes3. Drill pilot holes4. Drive provided boltsThe provided bolts are plenty robust enough to hold heavier items. I weigh 190lb and tested this to make sure it could hold two or three climbing kids and it held up without an issue.5-stars!

This is a nice feeling hanger. It only comes with hardware for wood mounting, so if you want concrete or metal anchors you will need to look elsewhere. the steel is so thick and the screws are nice. I think the limiting factor here is actually the carabiner. I have no doubt it would be good for the 600 lbs. I at 240 lbs hung from an 80lb heavy bag and its rock solid with that 320 lbs. I may need to get a basket chair to hang from it swapping when not needing the bag and having company over. Really good quality and worth the price premium over other cheaper options.
