The appearance of the one I received was much nicer than the pictures in the advertisement. As with all leather products, the grain in the leather is always unique.

Very well made , fine looking mat. Though one thing I would recommend is a bit better packing of the product, put the keyfod as a separate unit as it left impressions of the chain in the leather. Otherwise looks really sweet on the platter.

The punctures look intentional. Looks like a human image. Sent it back because I didn't ask for additional artwork (not as described). Waiting on a replacement from Amazon. Will edit if satisfactory.Edit: The replacement had more puncture marks than the first. Sending it back too.

Loved the packaging and quality BUT when you unroll it, it doesn’t lay flat. I had to leave several weights on it for two days for it to even remotely look like a vinyl matt. All in all, it looks great on my turntable and could recommend with that caveat.
