I bought this as a gift to my sister-in-law. She loved it, and put it in her guest room, so I got to use it when I visited them. Love the rheostat, allowing you to adjust the amount of light. The soft, warm orange light is quite relaxing. Fantastic gift idea!

It is okay. It looks great and worked. One issue is the box was broke open and the bulb was out upon arrival but that is probably the fault of the delivery or packing company. The main issue I have is that there is nothing to protect the bulb. You pile the rocks around that little glass bulb and hope for the best. And if it dies you have to remove all the rocks to change the bulb and then carefully arrange them again. And I worry about the mess (fire hazard?) if the weight of the rocks shatter the glass while it's on. Would probably be a 5 star if they added a little cage or something around the bulb. I wont be returning it but do wish I would have ordered a different style.

I purchased one of these months ago at a local store. All the himilayan salt matched in color. I decided to buy this one via Amazon. Not very happy since 1/3 of the himilayan salt has the nice pink and rich tone when lit and the rest are white. It isn't even close to looking as nice as my first one. It is odd because the box was like the one I bought in the store. So, it is in my bedroom where I see it less often. So not thrilled

This looks exactly as I thought it would, size and all. Love it - it looks great sitting there by my fireplace. Dimmer switch is an excellent added feature, and one can rearrange the crystals the way one likes them to sit. Beautiful product.

I was very happy at the fast shipping. However, extremely disappointed when I could not get it to work. I was looking forward to incorporating the lamp into my special indoor earth's energy display of Earth, Water, Fire and Air. As you can see in the picture, its the only element that is not working because its a piece of disappointing relic. For the price, it should have a bulb. I had to go out and purchase the bulb and still, it did not work. How can anyone justify selling this piece of a relic to customers? Where does the word "Honesty" comes in? now I am afraid it might burn my house down. Come on seller you can do better than this....

I can't really tell if it's helped my allergies, considering I got this right before I huge pollen outbreak in my state. But it's nice to sleep by. And the design is nice. I wish it was a lil more Energy effiecient but you can't have everything.

I own a couple of salt lamps, and have given this lamp as a gift. This is the lamp that all of the recipients seem to buy for family and friends. I like the rustic look of the lamp, it seems to work in most environments.

This is a unique accent lamp that gives off a warm golden peach glow. It has the added advantage of a dimmer switch so you can go from a very soft glow to a brighter glow. It is an accent, decorative lamp rather than one that adds any significant light to a room. Makes a great night light in a bedroom or a nice addition to a family room.I don't have any way of measuring air purification so no way to comment on that but I have use similar salts for cooking and bathing and they are wonderful. Most flavorful salt for casseroles and soups, and soothing for bathing.They must have listened to the reviews about bulbs arriving broken under the rocks. Mine arrived intact and protected by cardboard ( altho' still not a good idea to put a delicate bulb under heavy salt rocks).I added a pic of the switch and the lamp at it's brightest.
