I love the idea of a salt lamp and the pretty glow they give off. I have a large one where the light is on the inside, in my kids room. I thought this would be nice in my room as it says you can add essential oils, which I have done. Only problem is that it doesn’t actually aid in giving off the scent. I couldn’t smell anything and I know it wasn’t my oil’s fault, as they work perfectly in my other defusers. But as for look and light, it’s cute. But if someone is specifically asking for a salt lamp, I’d probably go for a bigger standard kind.

I have severe doubts that these salt rocks are genuinely sourced as they seem to be made of a thickened plastic. However, this lamp offers a nice and calming aesthetic to my workspace for when I need a gentle start to the morning. The LED light at the base illuminates well and the fact that this unit operates on USB power makes things easy without going through a ton of batteries. I'm still very pleased with the lamp overall and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to make an eclectic touch to their office, bedroom, or living room decor.
