The compact size of this backup alarm makes it ideal for material handling equipment such as fork-lifts, dump trucks, tow trucks, and other vehicles. When wired to reverse light, on 12 to 80 VDC systems, the back-up alarm emits a piercing 107 dB, industry-standard "beep-beep" reverse tone that immediately gets the attention of bystanders and workers for increased safety.
A weather-resistant housing is used to stand up to harsh work environments and the outdoor elements, and the ground terminal features a mounting bolt strap for connection to the vehicle's chassis for ground. which means that you can safely add it to nearly any automotive circuit.
