I thought the holes were big, until my husband tried one and could only fit it on his pinky. Works fine for the rest of us. Well sanded with no rough spots these show decent craftsmanship.

Love this set! The 4 wooden page holders are wooden and are very smooth with no rough edges. There are 2 cats and 2 dogs in the set. I have fairly large fingers and my thumb fits in perfectly. Great use to hold the pages of a book open while you are reading.Makes a really useful gift for a reader who is a pet lover!
