Hold a book on my coffee table without taking the spotlight. It’s not as large as I thought, but holds a book without noticing the holder. Happy with the result!

I would have liked it a bit larger for typical large Coffee table books. There was a small crack on it so that’s why my review is three stars.

This arrived opaque and I was really concerned. I realized there is a protective coating on each side of the acrylic.It did have a chipped corner, but not noticeable.

This book stand comes simply packaged and with a protective film over the acrylic. Once you've removed the protection, though, you've got a lovely book holder that can hold just about any book in your library!I chose this stand to hold my cookbooks in the kitchen when I'm cooking. Once I put it together, I was concerned that my larger cookbooks wouldn't fit because it's slightly smaller than I had anticipated. However, as you can see in the pictures, the stand holds the large book very comfortably. The stand is sturdy, lightweight, and easy to move or put away.If you're in the market for a beautiful acrylic book stand that will hold even large books, look no further!

Totally disappointing purchase. The item was shipped in an envelope, the acrylic having no bubble wrap or protection, so it arrived cracked. (see picture). Furthermore, it is not “clear” lucite, as stated in the description. It is opaque. Cheap looking.. They really dropped the ball, and don't know how there other reviews were 5star..

I'd never owned a bookstand, and I got this product on a whim... I'm honestly glad I did. I'm someone who is very proud of their book collection, but I find they only ever sit on a shelf or on a table - never on display, which was something that never occurred to me to do. I now have some of my favorite books as art or decoration pieces on my desk, and it's fun to make my collection more of a centerpiece than a backdrop.What you want to know: The stand is very simple, it's just two pieces of cut acrylic which sit in an X formation. Very easy to assemble. It looks small when assembled, which initially worried me, but it easily holds my larger display books (9x12") if balanced. While it will hold the book cover-up, it may look odd since the entire book will be on one side of the stand. Still, unless the book is super thick or heavy (1"+), it should hold fine.Pros: Simple, easy to assemble, sturdy, minimalist, great addition for a book loverCons: A little small for some books.
