I love these HP flash drives. I buy these and I always have one in my pocket and a spare one in the wrapper on the shelf. I've been using flash drives for 20+ years (my first was 16 mb and a gift from a techie friend).One caution to everyone and this applies to every brand of flash drive.There are two primary failure modes on all flash drives:The first is the drive switches to a read-only mode. This is when the chip inside wears out and means that you can't add any more to it (even tho it say say it still has free space) BUT can get your data back and write it to a new one.The second failure mode it hat it just dies. It is unreadable. You might get your data back but it involves expensive technical magic.ALWAYS - ALWAYS - have a second copy of your data on a separate device. I have a folder on my desktop labeled Flash Drives and inside that folder is a folder for each drive (and the desktop backs up to a external hard drive every night, and I rotate through three external hard drives). I can back up the flash drive to the folder and I can copy the folder to a new flash drive when it fails. Not "if" but "when".There are two kinds of people in the world: those that have lost data and those that will. The trick is to delay the loss as long as possible.

The drive seems like decent quality. Read speeds are acceptable. Write speeds are all too similar to the competition. It copied 125 gig of movies in 4 hours. 125,000,000,000 gig / (4 hr * 60 min * 60 sec) = about 9 meg a second. I was hoping for better....

Item works great on both a Mac and a HP laptop! Relatively fast and easy to use! Does not heat up easely and is a great small Size. Never had any data loss from using. The build quality is great!!!

I bought this to Download Windows OS for a PC build it was able to download the Windows OS to the USB Drive quick and also installing it onto the Pc very fast i was always a Fan of HP products so i didnt really expect of a low quality USB drive so if your looking to buy this for Photos, Videos, Notes, ETC get this you wont regret it

La USB llegó a tiempo y en buen estado. La relación precio-calidad es bastante buena. HP es sinónimo de garantía. La utilizo en una MacBook Pro y funciona sin problema. La verdad no he checado la velocidad de transmisión de datos pero para mí lo más importante era la capacidad (128 GB). Hasta el momento no tengo ninguna queja.
