Say goodbye to silly sporks that don't work as either a spoon or a fork. The Uno is built with smarter ends, including a spoon deep enough for soup and a fork with tines long enough to twirl spaghetti. A squared-off spoon profile makes it easy to scrape container walls and "splitter tines" on each edge of the fork make it easy to split softer foods. The unique U-shaped head orientation also makes Uno much more comfortable to hold compared to competitive combination tools that poke and jab you. Made from a special extremely durable nylon and backed by a lifetime warranty.

Great classic, durable two-ended sporks. I have four for home/camping. However, those with very large hands might find these difficult.

Spoon? Fork? Behold....the spork. I keep this in my bag when I'm on the go. It's made of a sturdy plastic and comes in fun colors. It does scuff a little bit that's just aesthetic and does not compromise the actual function of the item.

At my job I am either eating in the staff cafeteria where there is either no metal eating utensils and just plastic ones or when I'm bringing individuals out in the community where I need eat my lunch on the spot. This thing has been a great little tool for me to put in my lunch box or day pack for when I'm out. I've had mine for a few months and I use it almost everyday for lunch. The black coat on the fork side has scratched a bit around the prongs (I used a piece of scotchbrite to clean it, so that was my fault.) But that hasn't affected it in the slightest. I was expecting it to be bent by now with how packs are piled on top of each other in the van but it hasn't bent in the slightest, which is tells me that I will be getting years of use out of this thing. The beveled edges of the fork side really do a decent job with cutting food but is, it won't replace a knife but it still does the trick. One thing I was concerned about was the fork prongs and how good they would be at functioning as a fork with stabbing food. My concerns were put to rest when I tried it and they do pierce and hold onto food as well as any fork and better than any spork I have used (which is few because when I think of sports, I think of the ones you get from KFC with super shallow prongs. Not a problem with this one)I really like the two sided design with a fork on one side and a spoon on the other instead the two being melded into one thing like a traditional spork. So "technically" it's not a Spork, but it really doesn't matter what it is as long as it works.Great work Humangear! I plan to get two more!

We have replaced all of the kids utensils with these. They were used to having sporks and I was trying to switch them over to forks and spoons without much success. They would be trying to decide whether to use a fork or spoon when eating different things on their plate. This allows me to give them one utensil and they can figure it out. The handle is long enough so that your hand doesn’t interfere with eating. People might find the width of the handle a little awkward but it keeps the spoon/spork from slipping. I would not say that the spoon is deep enough to eat soup but you can definitely use it for cereal. The material is a very durable plastic with a satiny finish. This variety doesn’t have the knife on the edge of the fork part like some other similar utensils but I honestly have not found those to be super useful anyway. I love them.

Edit: I've since migrated to the GoBites Duo, which is even better as I can use the utensils separately or assembled in a long configuration for deep containers, at the penalty of an insignificant increase in weight. The Gobites Uno is the utensil I've been looking for since I have a fervent dislike for wasteful disposable flatware. Traditional sporks are nearly useless with their tines too short to spear and lift anything and a bowl compromised by the serrated front. In fact, I actually made something similar to the Uno a couple of years ago. Started with a stainless steel Chinese knock-off of the Light My Fire spork, with a flat fork that had one serrated edge. Ground and filed off the serrated edge since serrations are only useful if you can saw at an item, which is not possible if your knife is also your fork. Then bent the tines, choosing the same direction as this Uno because it was more comfortable in my hand. I guess Light My Fire never user-tested their sporks since they chose the opposite direction. But despite its usefulness, I just kept that utensil at the office because it was bigger and heavier than I liked. Along came the Uno.The spoon and fork are both upturned in the same direction, just the way I like it, so that when you're using either end, the other nestles comfortably in the crook between thumb and forefinger. The fork has beveled edges to cut through softer foods, like the Knork fork/knife does. The difference is that the Knork has a wide, flat side so you can exert more force, but I never really found that useful as it's not comfortable for my index finger with that much pressure. The handle of the Uno is comfortable enough to cut through fried eggs, pancakes, waffles, hash browns or skinless sausages. Anything much harder like a slice of ham and I'd want a real knife anyway. The Uno is almost weightless in my hand. It's nylon, so it wipes pretty clean with a paper napkin after lunch, then I wash it when I get home. While it is dishwasher-safe, I'm not so lazy that I can't spend 30 seconds hand-washing it. The fork tines are stiff enough and sharp enough to spear moderately hard foods, but I'm sure they won't poke through the fabric of my work/laptop bag after years of use. I bought the dark gray because you never know when you might run into something that may potentially leave a stain on the nylon, like spaghetti sauce or hot sauce, which the dark color would hide better than the bright ones. The nylon construction means I can get it through X-ray scanners. Several places I frequent have "security theater" where they do ridiculous things like confiscate steel forks (but not the equally "dangerous" things like a steel Cross pen). Likewise, TSA at airports can be just as silly, but they do explicitly allow plastic forks.I am docking one star for the spoon end. It works, but it's hardly a great spoon. Humangear claims it's deep enough for soup, but realistically, it has a capacity of a teaspoon or even less. I would have preferred a wider, deeper bowl to give it the capacity of a real soup spoon. The Uno would be good for ice cream, chili or a thick stew, but not for soup or even chowder unless you're willing to sit for a while to slurp several hundred spoonfuls or bring the bowl to your mouth. Also good for mashed potatoes, which traditional sporks struggle with since you can't scrape the bottom of the container clean with them.

Although this seems to be marketed more to people who are camping or need to carry a utensil with them, I found this was an incredible tool for dog food. My dog is on a prescription dog food that is packed into the can and needs to be broken up to be mixed with the dry food. I admit I am a little grossed out by the wet dog food so rather not use my good utensils to scoop it out and cut it up. Regular plastic ones tend to snap so I was looking for something a little stronger. This was perfect! It is very strong and easy to clean. It makes it easy to scoop out the food and break it up into smaller pieces. It is lightweight and durable. I saw spoons marketed as dog food spoons that were three times the price and looked flimsy. This would make a great utensil for a lunch box or to leave in your desk at work in case you needed it. Fantastic product.
