This is a really good looking container. The lid flips back easily allowing access to the salt. A small spoon is provided. It allows much better portioning of salt than using a shaker or pouring salt into your hand (and wasting a lot of it or having to dry your hands to use it.) In a busy kitchen this is a practical and attractive solution assuming you have the counter space.

These salt safes work great for me. The lid is hinged in a way that it is useful for my purposes. The safe also holds a good amount of salt, eliminating frequent refilling. Easy to keep clean too.

Check out the measurements. They seem large to me…..but they are easy to use and keep clean. Am using the spoon for another container. We just take pinches of salt with clean fingers.

The Salt-N-Pepa containers are absolutely gorgeous and I love that they both have a ceramic spoon so you can scoop out your salt and pepper you can as matter fact use some for other things not necessarily salt and pepper but they are adorable and very well-made and I love the bamboo lids I highly recommend them to anyone
