Got this to use to water the plants in my raised bed. It's design fit very nicely and it holds a lot of water.

This is my second rain barrel. My first was attached to a previous house that we sold and the buyer loved it so much, it sealed the deal! When you pay money at a nursery for plants, why not spend a little more on a rain barrel? They have gotten me through several droughts and my plants love rain water which contains nutrients rather than ordinary tap water.

I love the look of the rain barrel it looks great on our back patio. I catch all the rain into it, at least 50 gallons. (Con) Once it is full it spills down and can make a mess if you have plants and soil in the top. You almost need another barrel to hook to this one to catch overflow. However that won’t work for us due to small patio. The spigots could be better. Hard to thread even after following directions completely. I fill a watering container from the highest spigot and it does not come out in a single flow which causes some water not to gather in container. They are also too close to the side of the barrel so when you open valve it hits the side.I don’t use the bottom one because I don’t think it would have any pressure to flow out the hose. You would almost need a pump to get it to come out. I kept it because I felt like it would be too much of hassle to return being so big.

Very sturdy, looks good, needed silicone to ensure faucets are leak proof, top planter space does not completely drain due to poor drainage port

Finally purchased one because the price was good; most of the rain barrels I found were very expensive so I was excited to find one not as expensive. Got the barrel and it was very easy to install, and has definitely survived a variety of weather conditions. Overall great value for the price, definitely recommend one.

Good product. Bought this right before getting new gutters and the company "installed" it for free. I would assume if you live somewhere with a good amount of rain you would need my set up. It gives you the option to divert the water back down the drain normally. This filled up with one big spring storm in my area.Holding strong, no leaks. But like others have mentioned the top planter isn't really practical. There's no drain and im pretty sure my plants will die from overwatering. I think I might buy some stones and a solar fountain if that happens and see what I can make. But as a planter it's impractical.Another thing to note is that there isn't much water pressure. I thought I'd be able to use this to water my lawn with a sprinkler. Nope! But I can use it to fill up my water can and water all my other plants. I think this would be an issue for any model.

I am sure this works well but we have not had much rain fall to see if it works. I did not plant anything on top because of no rain. So I used it to put under the hose that runs off from the Air Conditioner and it does well catching that water. We did put it on a stand so the bottom hose valve could be used.

Now that we actually HAVE rain (I live in California) it works really well. I have had to attach a hose a few times to drain in to the yard because we had so much rain... but the water spigots are really solid and work well. Keep in mind there is no water pressure so it can only drain downhill... once you lift the attached hose up the water slows to a trickle. My solution is to fill up my watering cans from the middle spigot and water my patio plants this way. But I really love it! We've been getting rain every few days and I water my plants inbetween the rain, so I feel like I am conserving water by using rain instead of from the faucet.
