Very sticky so be prepared for clean up. Other than that, it works as directed.

It states on the product that it makes 6 gallons of snow. I can tell you that it was maybe a gallon and a half for the entire container. I have a preschool classroom and a small sensory table. And we kept adding more by following the directions exactly, and this did not expand anywhere near as much as they said it would. Very disappointing.

Students had a lot of fun. Hard to clean up. I probably won’t use again because a lot of waste.

The snow is amazingly easy to make, measure powder, measure water and stir. It is super fun to play with. Clean up is not great and leftover snow on the sidewalk was very slippery when the temperature dropped.

I use this every year in my Christmas displays. In a glass and silver trays I set up scenes of winter activities. Kids who visit are amazed. I do let them play in it to and it doesn't damage any of my sofas. I always make sure to clean right after they leave. After a week or so it sometimes gets moldy and I will replenish. I also sprinkle water through out the holidays as it starts to dry up. In the photo I put 1 TBS in a 1/3 C container and added water. You can see how much it expanded. This is a very large container and will last me a couple of years. That includes sending baggies home with visiting children.

This instant snow powder is so much fun! The directions are accurate and just a little bit of the dry powder makes a good amount of fake snow. This item isn't just for winter though...!! My daughter uses colored fizzy tabs (supposed to go in a kid's bath) to color the water before adding it to the fake snow. She makes several batches, all with different color fizzy tabs, then creates designs like rainbows and candy on plastic dinner trays. It keeps her busy for hours :) This fake snow can also be added (dry powder) to school glue and activator to make 'snow slime' which is extremely popular with the kids.

This instant snow is so cool! I was hoping to be able to use this to create a festive atmosphere at a year-end celebration at work. When it arrived, I opened it up and took a very tiny amount in a small bowl and added some water, and voila! It absorbed the water and fluffed up right away, and was very realistic to the eye, and to my surprise, to the touch! I didn’t use much, as I wanted to save this for its intended purpose, but ai am sure this is going to really help create a fun and whimsical scene at our event. My only concern is that it may be difficult to clean up, so I would suggest using this in a way that either contains it in something you can easily clean out. or use it outdoors. So fun!
