I have two boats. The first I bottomed painted with Interlux bottom paint 1 year ago. It sits in salt water in the SF bay. No sign of slime or sea life. The second boat I used this product along with Interlux Trilux 33. The two products together provide an excellent barrier coat for aluminum boats.

I would give this 5 stars but it’s not an easy product to work with. The larger part is nearly solid and hard to stir before mixing. Having 2 people rolling in the shade we mixed a gallon at a time and for the first 20-25 minutes it goes on fine. But it kicks quick in 80 degrees and we had some begin to kick in the roller and separate on the boat, which we had to sand back down with 40 grit to reapply.

This product was terrible never hardened for sanding was like sanding gum. Tried to contact seller never got a response . Project taking longer then expected due to having to scrape this product off . Avoid this product

4 coats later the bottom is like a rock. When you buy good stuff you get good results.Be prepared to stir for 20 minutes before mixing in the epoxy, this stuff is thick and the bottom half of the can is like sand.Boat is 23 footer and used 2 gallons for four coats.
